It’s the nature of this particular style of dance to show off the woman – the man is the frame and the woman is the picture -he was still being amazing like always.

I had a feeling during this dance that Charlie would win.I can’t come up with words to express how much I love this. I’ll just sit here watch it a few more times while my jaw hits the floor. By the way Tommy wasn’t just there as support he was outstanding.
@pippapet It’s called Roxanne. It’s a movie version of a Sting/police song. I think the movie was Moulin Rouge or Chicago (Moulin Rouge I think)

Wow, Charlie was fantastic. Tommy has really grown as a dancer. Great overall performance!
Brilliant dancing and a big thanks to the great( that i forgot to mention before )choregrapher of this Katya Vershilas. Come on Strictly don’t let us dance lovers down make sure she appears in the next series.
This dance totally just shows the woman off! No wonder Charlie won…Tommy was fab too – but he could have been given more in this dance
i prefer tommy to charlie in this dance and i prefer lizzie and tomy’s dance to this. sorry.
Charlie absolutely outstanding!!!! A beautiful sensual performance!!! I am so elated CHARLIE WON she so DESERVED to. Tommy Lizzie have had the same training as Charlie BUT Charlie shone through in the FINALS. Good luck to all the contestants they are all amazing and wish them great success. WELL DESERVED CHARLIE THE RIGHT WINNER ON THE NIGHT.
Tommy should have given more credit in this dance. Charlie wouldn’t have looked that good flinging her legs around if Tommy wasn’t a good support! Really disappointed with the judges just crediting Charlie.
What is that expression? That is takes two to Tango?

Charlie was put forward during the finals. She’s a good dancer, but she still needs to work on her technique. Here they use her flexibility a lot, we know she can fling her legs!
Tommy has been awesome every single week, in all different styles, he is a great lead (I used to do ballroom/latin, I can tell u that u can do nothing if the guy can’t lead). Plus he’s incredibly flexible for a man, look at his split behind Lizzie in his first dance of the night! I think Tommy should have won.

I do not have dance knowledge, but know what I like and what I don’t like. Tommy is brilliant and as you say the most consistant.What I feel won it for Charlie was coming up to his level in the final. She also strinkled that bit of magic in every dance. It’s not Tommy’s fault that he can always make things looks easy,it’s Chalie’s talent to hit it big at the right time.I will admit disappointment being a Lizzie supporter but pleasure that a Female won.
In my personal opinion I think it would be easier for a girl to win because a lot of the time in lifts and things although the man may be technically doing a harder thing the girl will look better. I dont think Tommy got enough credit in this routine but Charlie was awesome. I think Lizzie and Tommy would have won if the whole competition process was judged but Charlie edged it on the final.
Charlie definitely developed the most. Personally, I think Tommy should have won, but that’s just my opinion. Let’s face it, all of them are probably going to do pretty well out of this show.
And the Argentinian. It’s when Ewan’s character is going all angsty because Satine and the Duke are finally having their romantic dinner. One of the best songs of the film in my opinion

Yes I certainly agree with you over the series Tommy or Lizzie would have won.I disagree about females winning.Take strictly Come Dancing there has tradionally been a biasis against the beter femals dancers Rachel & Ali from both judges & public voting.That’s why it was refreshing to hear Arlene supporting Lizzie.
now this was a good routine, save for a few awkward moments

I dont think it really made that much difference who won the competition to their careers as they will all do brilliantly. I wish I could dance lik them.
