Do you guys like my shirt? It’s new
The title basically explains it all. My first week of summer has been successfully relaxing. I’ve been staying up to date on So You Think You Can Dance, which is AMAZING, and watched the Glee finale along with the MTV Movie Awards. Also have been obsessing over the new iPhone 4 lately and I might even be getting it for my birthday! Starting rehearsals for Jesus Christ Superstar on Sunday, in which I play Annas and the stuff I have to sing is ridiculously high. It’ll be an interesting process. And next week’s video lands right on my birthday so expect something really special! …it probably wont be that great
Comment Questions: 1. What is your ideal birthday present? 2. What would you give me for my birthday if you could?
3. If you took your driving test, was it hard? Did you fail? Share your story! 4. What are your thoughts on SYTYCD, the Glee finale, MTV Movie Awards, the new iPhone 4, or anything else you heard about recently? Early Symptoms Of Pregnancy And Testing
For some women who are trying to get pregnant the key sign to success is a missed period. But there are earlier signs you can watch out for varying from woman to woman in form and strength. Sickness can start as early as a few days in, other have bloating, and others say they have tightening feeling in the stomach.
The earliest time you should really take a pregnancy test is 2 weeks after conception as there is not enough hCG in the body to detect otherwise, even using a sensitive home pregnancy test designed to be used for early testing, before a missed period. But by testing earlier you are losing some of the accuracy – the highest accuracy per cent sensitive tests give if you test before a missed period is 90%. So if you get a negative result you may still want to wait and see if you get your period. If you do not, you need to retest again.
Until then there are signs you can look for to help gauge whether or not you are pregnant. These include: Being very tired and feeling fatigued. Morning sickness (that can actually happen any time of day or night). Spotting can happen 3 to 12 days after ovulation. Bloating. Breasts becoming tender, swollen and blue veins appearing. Needing to urinate often. Craving foods.
Symptoms change from woman to woman, and in some are severe, and in others do not appear at all. Some woman start noticing signs within just a few days of being pregnant, and others may have to wait a few weeks. Every woman’s body is different and how the changing hormones and rising hCG levels affect it changes too.
Home pregnancy tests can give you the answer to your question am I really pregnant. They are easy to use but you do need to follow the instructions carefully, whether using a test strip as you pee, or peeing in a cup and then sitting it in the urine. Test are not all the same, some are digital, some are more sensitive, so choose carefully. However they do all work the same way, looking for hCG in your urine. If you are confident about the result even after a re-test, see your doctor and they can either do their own urine test, take blood for a lab to test and may also do a pelvic examination.
All there is to know about any early pregnancy test available and pregnancy testing in general. Today’s special: when to take a pregnancy test
