Pink Floyd – Wish You Were Here

Pink Floyd, Wish You Were Here (1975) So, so you think you can tell Heaven from Hell, Blue skys from pain. Can you tell a green field From a cold steel rail? A smile from a veil? Do you think you can tell? And did they get you to trade Your heros for ghosts? Hot ashes for trees? Hot air for a cool breeze? Cold comfort for change? And did you exchange A walk on part in the war For a lead role in a cage? How I wish, how I wish you were here. We’re just two lost souls Swimming in a fish bowl, Year after year, Running over the same old ground. What have we found? The same old fears. Wish you were here.

So You Think You Can Dance! Glee! MTV Movie Awards! iPhone 4! Birthdays! SUMMER!

Do you guys like my shirt? It’s new :) The title basically explains it all. My first week of summer has been successfully relaxing. I’ve been staying up to date on So You Think You Can Dance, which is AMAZING, and watched the Glee finale along with the MTV Movie Awards. Also have been obsessing over the new iPhone 4 lately and I might even be getting it for my birthday! Starting rehearsals for Jesus Christ Superstar on Sunday, in which I play Annas and the stuff I have to sing is ridiculously high. It’ll be an interesting process. And next week’s video lands right on my birthday so expect something really special! …it probably wont be that great :) Comment Questions: 1. What is your ideal birthday present? 2. What would you give me for my birthday if you could? :P 3. If you took your driving test, was it hard? Did you fail? Share your story! 4. What are your thoughts on SYTYCD, the Glee finale, MTV Movie Awards, the new iPhone 4, or anything else you heard about recently? Making Sure You Have The Tattoo Supplies That You Need

It does not matter what level of tattoo artist you are. From the beginning you will need a list of supplies kept on hand and close by. Of course, the machine that that will be used is the most important. That one item will probably change the most throughout your career as you learn more and become more advanced. And do not forget about the needles and inks that you will end up choosing.

When purchasing supplies, you will at some point end up buying individual pieces. If you are looking to buy multiple items at once, a kit may be the way to go. Whatever you have for a price range, you may just find the right one for you.

In most of the kits that you will find is the tattoo machine, or the tattoo gun. These vary widely from beginner to the elite which usually consists of three parts; the coil wrap, the grip, and the tips. There is also the power supply and the pedal which actually allows the machine to be used. Do not forget about the rubber bands, rubber rings, and grommets that are essential to the machine.

There are other things that may or may not be included in your standard tattoo supply kit. Needles can be bought separately or in kits by themselves. There are different sizes and types depending on what your preference is while tattooing. There is also such a thing as practice skin. This allows you to get the feel of your new machine on something similar to human skin before you work on the real thing.

When looking for ink, you have as many colors to choose from as you can find. From one brand to another, it is not only the color that matters, but its consistency and how it is made. Different inks are good for different skin tones and types, including covering up scars. Most tattoo inks are derived from metals, which can cause skin irritations. If this is a concern that you have while choosing your inks, there are also organic inks to consider.

The needles that you choose to use are also very important. What you prefer as an artist will determine what kind of needles that you will keep in stock. The two main types are the round and the flat. With a round type set, it is where there are several needles put together to form a round shape. A flat type setup is where several needles are placed in a single row, or in layers of flat rows.

Needles are not the only disposable item that you will be using. There are paper towels, surgical gloves antiseptic spray, petroleum jelly, ink cups, and a cream or gel that goes on to the tattoo when the process is over. These not only make the tattooing process safe, but just a bit more convenient when they are on hand and close by.

There are many styles and degrees of professionalism associated with tattoo supplies. The higher the quality, the higher the price, which is true with just about anything. Your machine will become a constant while most of your daily supplies are disposable. Any tattooing artist will always have a demand for tattooing supplies.
