Hey guys, I’m Joslyn Davis with the latest 411 on American Idol. When the show makes it return to TV for Season 10, the judges won’t be the only changes for the hit. First up and most notably perhaps in the calendar change. The show will move from its usual Tuesday night start to air on Wednesdays and Thursdays instead. Glee will continue its take-over of the Tuesday night time slot. Another interesting change to look forward to is the fact that the show will not start with 24 contestants. Instead the group will be whittled down to 12 before the show actually kicks off. The finalists for season 10 will also be asked to put together music videos as a part of the competition — and this is something that’s never been done before. Jennifer Lopez also dishes that the new judging panel will be giving a bit more leeway to the auditioners this season. She says: “I don’t want to let anybody really great [not make it through] because they’re nervous…so we work with them a little bit more than maybe you’ve seen in the past.” Wow, so now that Simon’s gone, it seems like the whole crew has gotten way nicer. So, after months and months of speculation and every entertainment expert across the world taking a guess at who would re-fill the judging panel over on American Idol, we are finally getting some answers. Yes, Randy Jackson will be joined by living rocknroll legend Steven Tyler of Aerosmith, as well as our favorite girl from the block, the lovely and multi-talented Jennifer Lopez. These picks weren’t too shocking, as word had it both of these mega-stars were in serious talks to join the Fox hit show, however, we now have the official confirmation. And guess what guys, ClevverTV was sort of a part of the big announcement, which was made by Ryan Seacrest on Ustream.tv. At the start of the broadcast, Ryan talked about all the hoopla and media attention surrounding the search for an almost all-new judging panel.
