Hey guys – I’m Joslyn Davis with word that after just one season Ellen Degeneres is already backing out of American Idol. This comes as HUGE surprise, considering it was reported that Ellen had previously signed on for a multi-season contract. Fans of the host and AI judge also thought she’d really be stepping it up after the loss of Simon Cowell – but this is not so….Ellen says she chose to leave the show because she didn’t feel like it was the right fit for her. She also admitted that she had a rough time hurting some of the contestant’s feelings. But of course she loved the experience and is still a big fan of the show. So who else is super sad to see Ellen go? I know I am. So now what? Who will take her spot.
