DAVID COOK – Last year’s winner ANOUK DESI NIKKI MCKIBBEN DAVID ARCHULETTA – Last year’s runner-up SIMON FULLER – “American Idol” creator ALISON IRAHETA MATT GERAUD DANNY GOKEY – Danny finished 3rd and was happy for the winner. He introduced his sister and said he is working on his album and his foundation, plus wants to come out with an eyewear line. MICHAEL SERVER SCOTT MCINTYRE – The blind “AI” finalist was very friendly. He talked about how much his fans mean to him, etc. KIMBERLY CALDWELL – Plenty of smiles. KHRIS ALLEN – The winner ran in to the party. MICHAEL JOHNS JANICE DICKENSON – Said it was the best show in history. DAVID HASSELHOFF – Hasselhoff was with his daughters and looked like he had a few drinks. So, what else is new? How did he like the show? David: “Awesome, Man. Where is the car, guys?” LIL’ ROUNDS JASON CASTRO KIMBERLY LOCKE MEAGAN JOY – Posed and showed off her tattoos. LEMAR and OLIVER TREVENA – British singer Lemar stopped to chat CARRIE UNDERWOOD – The superstar was all giggles. She looked very glamourous and hung out with her friends. Brooke White first came to Randy Jackson’s attention when she auditioned for “American Idol” in 2008. She made it into the finals, eventually bowing out in 5th place. However, Jackson was impressed enough by her talent that he continued to work with her. Their latest project together was recording songs for a made-for-TV movie called “Change Of Plans,” and White’s plans definitely changed after she was talked into auditioning for the lead role — and won it! Fox All Access host Chris Leary went to Jackson’s Hollywood recording studio to talk with the pair about the movie, find out more about how White’s acting debut came to be, and even engage in a little “Idol” chatter. “Change of Plans” airs on Fox this Saturday at 8/7 Central. One of the most adorable dudes in the entertainment world, David Archuleta is going on the record with Latina Magazine saying that: “You know, the time will come. I’ll know when I’m ready and right now it’s just not the time yet. It’s when you find that person that you feel comfortable around.” So for this year at least, there won’t be any kissing going on for David under the misteltoe, but nothing seems to get this happy-go-lucky guy down. I’m your host Dana Ward here and we’re filling ya in on the latest singing reality competition show to hit the tube. While American Idol has definitely been a fan favorite in this category for years, The Voice of America is set to give it a run for its money. According to reports, superstar producer Mark Burnett is backing the reality show which is bases on the top tv show in the Netherlands, similarly called The Voice of Holland… if the US-version follows the overseas smash hit, it will feature 4 celebrity coaches – who aren’t even able to SEE the contestants during auditions, forcing the VOICE to be the star of the show. Each judge can press a button to send the singer to the next round – a push that means the contestant is a student of that panelist… but if more than one celeb picks a singer, it’s that singer who gets to choose his or her mentor! Basically, at this point, the teams compete and its the audience from The Voice of America who decides the winner. Of course there are some extra rules in there, likely to make the show more dramatic and fun for viewers. But in the end, only one person will win a recording contract.
