Well the latest names to be thrown into the ring would make for a interesting combo, seeing as they were one of the music world’s hottest couple several years ago. Oh you already know I’m talking about Jennifer Lopez and Sean Diddy Combs. According to circuiting reports, J-LO’s manager Benny Medina put the deal in motion weeks ago, but there’s no word yet on whether or not it will really happen. Plus we’re guessing that her paycheck would be a hefty sum. Also throwing his own name in the ring is P Diddy, who joked with George Lopez on Lopez Tonight that “one [he] heard what Simon makes…[he'd] love the job.” Very funny and clearly a joke, but we think this could be really good. J-Lo has experience, know-how and glamour on her side and Diddy is nothing if not brutally honest. Plus how fun would it be to see the two them sitting behind the judging table? They should have picked MARIAH CAREY! but obviously mariahs to much of a successful diva. and since jlo got droped from her label shes probaly scramming for things to keep her in the spot lite. i love mc and jlo (:

I think that American Idol is done. I used to be a fan of the show but I don’t like it anymore. It’s just like one big popular karaoke contest. What ever happened to making it on your own?
I was reading thought the commntes…funny how a lot of you don’t know they dated! WOW i feel old! American Idol Sucked till season 4. season 4 was my fav season. i love carrie..as for the seasons after all but season 5 when Taylor Hicks won i liked who won! As for Diddy being a Judge on AI i can see that..J.Lo a little..AND WHO EVER SAID MARIAH CAREY…HELL NO to that. Justin timberlake would be good and i really Think they should stay w/ Brett Micheals too…but who evey they do pick i still dont think AI will be GREAT with out Simon! Oh and I also heard something and Jessica Simson??? OH FUCK NO! i wouldn’t watch if she was a JUDGE i can’t stand her…

Jennifer is really talented and she was a mentor on AI and then realized how good she would be as a judge<3 love her! same with P.diddy, he has a lot of experience.
So what the heck happened. I read somewhere Ellen left and then just read today she was let go , what is the deal and real story about that?
honestly, AI has gone down the toilet. Paula left and Simon is also leaving, who was simply one of the best. If you ask me, they should pick someone who can actually SING or even better, an AI alum: Jennifer Hudson, Jordin Sparks, Kelly Clarkson, etc
I think that would be a good pair behind the Judges Table. I am so sad about Simon and Ellen leaving! I had a dream that Justin Bieber was the new judge with Miley Cyrus and they let everyone go to Hollywood but then I woke up. I think it would be cool to have someone that was on the show that did really well be the judge A.K.A kellie pickler, kelly clarkson, david archuleta, adam lambert, jordin sparks.
